Based in the village of Chambolle-Musigny, Georges Roumier is a leading estate in Burgundy, producing some of the most sought-after wines in the world. Run since 1992 by Christophe Roumier – the founder’s grandson – the property covers 11.5 hectares in Chambolle-Musigny, Morey-Saint-Denis and Corton-Charlemagne. This is the Domaine’s Les Amoureuses Premier Cru from 2000, a very good vintage for Burgundy. Expect a dark brooding nose with a complex palate.
