The verso (copyright page) appears normally with "Copyright, 1911, by Charles Scribner's Sons", "Published October, 1911" and the publisher's colophon or seal. The text and rear adverts appear normally (final leaf of ads is unopened). Tight fine and fresh, bookplate of Chicago bookseller John Valentine affixed to front pastedown. In custom cloth slipcase with black leather spine label lettered in gilt; slipcase is moderately sunned.
