David Mason Books has just celebrated our 50th anniversary in business. We are now located in Toronto Ontario Canada at 366 ADELAIDE STREET WEST, in Suite LL05, M5V 1R9, in The Capital Building. Our History and our Specialties can be viewed at our website. Hours are 10am to 5pm Monday thru Friday, and Saturdays by chance or appointment. If you are coming to the shop to examine/purchase a book you saw online, please call ahead to confirm, as some items are stored offsite. When placing an order please have the book or item number at hand along with author and title if available. We have a large and diverse stock of more than 40,000-50,000 books. Our areas of specialty are 19th Century British and American Literature; Modern First Editions; Canadian Literature; Science; and Travel & History from the 18th to 20th Century. We also carry books in other areas such as Canadiana; 18th Century Literature; Fine Bindings; Sports and Pastimes and Children's & Illustrated Books. In the area of science, travel and sports/pastimes our focus is on books published before 1930.
