Description

Krug was originally established in 1843 by German-born Joseph Krug, who cut his teeth working for Jacquesson Champagne before setting up his own Maison. All their cuvées age for at least six years on their lees before release, making them distinctively rich and complex. The 1982 vintage is brimming with dried fruits, hazelnuts, honey and biscuits. The balance is truly remarkable, with fine bubbles and a discreet toast.
