With a long history going back to the 15th century, Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé is a shining star in the Côte de Nuits firmament. Today, the estate is owned by sisters, Comtesse Claire de Causans and Marie de Ladoucette with Jean Lupatelli as chef de cave and Jean-Luc Pépin looking after sales and marketing. The domaine incorporates grands crus, premiers crus and villages Chambolle-Musigny in the holdings, including a tiny parcel of Musigny Blanc, one of Burgundy`s most intriguing white wines. This is a rare bottle from the 1982 vintage, a truly elegant Chardonnay showing remarkable concentration and density.
