Description

Founded in 1898, Benromach is a Speyside distillery currently owned by Gordon and MacPhail of Elgin. This single cask expression was distilled in 1974 by former distiller Tom Anderson and aged for four decades in a former sherry butt. On the nose, fresh oranges and raisins mingle with tobacco leaves, dark chocolate and some of that signature menthol. The palate reveals notes of raspberries and blackberries, complemented by tobacco and liquorice. The liquid comes presented in a stylish decanter-style bottle alongside a wooden case.
