The 2022 release of this special Macallan single malt has been aged for a quarter of a century in sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez, during which time it developed a wide spectrum of flavours. The nose is quite citrusy, but balanced by sweet spices, sherry and wood smoke. The palate is unapologetically rich, dominated by dried fruits and more hints of wood smoke.
