Gordon & MacPhail Tamdhu 50 Year Old Private Collection is a vintage-dated independent bottling of Speyside single malt whisky from the Tamdhu Distillery in Knockando, Banffshire. Distilled in 1972, this whisky was bottled in March 2017. This highly collectible 50-year-old malt was matured in a single first-fill European oak Sherry butt and was bottled at a cask strength of 55.6%. Just 100 bottles were made. This rare whisky is presented in a decanter, created by British craftsmen and women including glass designer Katy Holford, crystal experts Royal Brierley and silversmiths at the jewellery house Hamilton & Inches.
