The whisky was bottled at 48.1% ABV after maturing in a combination of refill American oak hogsheads and ex-sherry butts for 31 years. As a result of this long maturation period, it is a complex and nuanced dram, with a depth of flavours that develops on the palate. A very rare and highly sought-after bottle.
