This single malt from Fettercairn was distilled in June 1966 and only released in 2018 to celebrate the revitalisation of the distillery`s on-going whisky range. It has been matured for 50 years in an American white oak ex-Bourbon cask and then finished for a few years in a Tawny Port pipe. The nose is complex, with aromas of ginger, spices, citrus peel and apple. On the palate, more citrus fruit, coffee and toffee apple, leading to rich notes of Port and almonds.
