Description

A single malt whisky is from the Hanyu distillery, which used to produce malt whisky in the traditional Scottish way, but unfortunately stopped distilling in 2000. This is the Seven of Diamonds from the highly collectable ‘Cards’ series. The whisky was distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2010. It was originally matured in a hogshead and then finished in a Pedro Ximénez sherry butt.

About this whisky

The Seven of Diamonds from the Card Series by Ichiro's Malt is a distinguished 1991 vintage Japanese single malt from the now-closed Hanyu Distillery. It exemplifies the superior craftsmanship and unique flavors that have made the Card Series a cherished collection among whisky lovers. Rich oak, chocolate, citrus, and a hint of smoke. Complex, with a long, satisfying finish.

Ichiro`s Malt Card Series

The Ichiro's Malt Card Series is a highly sought-after collection of single cask whiskies from the now-defunct Hanyu Distillery. Each bottle is named after a playing card, making a complete deck of 52 bottles plus two jokers. The series showcases the wide range of whisky profiles Hanyu was capable of producing.
