We are pleased to offer this preowned 2016 Omega Speedmaster Silver Snoopy Award Moonwatch with the Reference 311.32.42.30.04.003. Accompanying the watch are the outer box, display box, Operating Instructions book, The Apollo 13 Chronicle, Apollo 13 45th Anniversary Silver Snoopy Award booklet, hang tag, pouch, polishing cloth, International Warranty Card and Pictograms card. The warranty card is dated in August of 2016. In 1970, the crew aboard Apollo 13 used their Speedmaster watches as part of their perilous yet successful return to Earth, an action for which OMEGA received NASA's Silver Snoopy Award. For the 45th anniversary, this inspired "Moonwatch" has been created in a Limited Edition series of 1,970 pieces. The design has been refreshed with a white dial that features a Super-LumiNova Snoopy on the 9 o'clock subdial. "Failure is not an option" has been transferred on the dial, as well as the phrase "What could you do in 14 seconds?" with 14 squares that represent the Snoopy comics. The 42.00 mm polished-brushed case is made with stainless steel, while the polished black ceramic bezel ring also features Super-LumiNova on the tachymeter scale. Similar to the iconic original, this watch features the OMEGA Calibre 1861, and "Moonwatch" style hands. To complete the look, there is a black coated nylon fabric strap, and a crafted 925 Silver Snoopy medallion with dark blue enamel on the reverse.

The Omega Speedmaster, often referred to as the 'Moonwatch', is one of Omega's most iconic timepieces. Launched in 1957, it gained fame as the first watch worn on the Moon during the Apollo 11 mission in 1969. This watch features a manual-wind movement, chronograph complication, and a tachymeter scale on its bezel. It's recognized by its black dial, stainless steel case and bracelet, and robust design.
