It’s a dial preserved in perfect condition and literally aged to perfection as the original varnish has only slightly darkened over time. The Certificate of Origin confirms the original production of this ref. 3945/1J in 1988 (date code PRNN) and the original date of sale as January 19, 1989 at Tiffany & Co., New York. It was not until 1990 that the second, sapphire back was added to this reference, so this beautifully preserved example with crisp hallmarks is a fully complete example.
