Description

The watch presented here is an early Franck Muller Regulator Jumping Hour. Tonneau Curvex" with its characteristic barrel-shaped case developed with the birth of the brand in 1992. It is a rare model that is now out of production, and is the only regulator model in the Franck Muller collection. This is a rare regulator watch in Franck Muller's collection. This model also features jumping hours, one of the complications. The hour hand is indicated on the subdial at 12 o'clock, The hand moves to the next hour as soon as the central minute hand passes the 12 o'clock position. The subdial at 6 o'clock is a small seconds. Regulator watches are inspired by the regulators of watch workshops, a layout used in pillar clocks more than 200 years ago. The dial is not the large, gaudy Byzantine numerals of the current models, but rather a simple design with small, understated, chic indexes and guilloche engravings. The size is very good, 31 x 45, the smallest men's size at that time. This is a full set. This is an early Franck piece that will become increasingly hard to find. Please take advantage of this opportunity to own one!
