Description

2007 GARMIN TXi UPGRADED CIRRUS SR22-G3 TURBO New to the market NexAir Avionics Garmin TXi Upgraded Cirrus SR22 equipped with the Tornado Ally Turbo Normalizing Kit. This aircraft is equipped with a new retrofit Garmin G500 TXi Flight deck, Factory A/C, 4 place Precise Flight Oxygen, and more. This Aircraft was repainted in 2014 with a great blue over white scheme. Original Cirrus interior installed with new Carbon panel instrument panels. This was our Garmin demonstrator, and it has every Garmin Avionics option from TXi with Synthetic Vision, Dual ADAHRS, Smart Glide, and the new GDL60 Planesync Datalink. It has the Garmin GFC500 with Yaw damper and even a standby GI-275. Nothing was left out during this upgrade and the cost to have it done to a stock Cirrus is north of $150K. The engine was torn down at around 900 hours due to a prop strike. The cylinders have all been replaced during its life, which is not uncommon for a turbo. The prop was new at the time of the engine teardown. Technically this engine is at TBO but with the hours on the lower end and the cylinders the new owner could fly easily for a few hundred hours and schedule their engine swap a few years down the road. This Cirrus is located in Plymouth, MA (KPYM). All aircraft logs and records can be sent upon request.

About SR22

The Cirrus SR22 is a highly regarded single-engine, piston-powered general aviation aircraft, renowned for its innovative design, safety features, and performance. Manufactured by Cirrus Aircraft, a company headquartered in Duluth, Minnesota, the SR22 was first introduced in 2001 as an enhanced version of the earlier SR20 model. It has since become one of the best-selling aircraft in its class, appealing to private pilots and business travelers alike. One of the standout features of the SR22 is its advanced safety system, the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS), which deploys a whole-airframe parachute in emergencies. This groundbreaking feature has been credited with saving numerous lives and is a major reason for the aircraft’s popularity among safety-conscious buyers. The SR22 is powered by a 310-horsepower Continental IO-550-N engine, enabling a maximum cruising speed of approximately 183 knots (340 km/h) and a range of around 1,200 nautical miles (2,222 km). The aircraft’s efficiency and performance make it suitable for both short regional flights and longer cross-country missions. It is equipped with advanced avionics, including the Garmin Perspective+ flight deck, which features a user-friendly interface, synthetic vision technology, and integrated autopilot capabilities. The design of the SR22 is another key factor in its success. It features a composite airframe, sleek aerodynamics, and a fixed tricycle landing gear configuration. The spacious and ergonomically designed cabin offers comfortable seating for up to five occupants, along with climate control and modern conveniences like USB ports and leather upholstery. Over the years, Cirrus has released various iterations of the SR22, including the turbocharged SR22T, which provides improved performance at higher altitudes. Limited-edition models and upgrades have also been introduced, catering to pilots seeking premium features and customizations. The SR22 has earned a reputation as a pilot-friendly and versatile aircraft, well-suited for personal, training, and business aviation. Its combination of performance, luxury, and safety has made it a favorite among private owners and flight schools. As one of the most popular general aviation aircraft in the world, the Cirrus SR22 continues to set benchmarks in the industry, blending cutting-edge technology with reliable and efficient flying capabilities.
