Under Contract. PlaneSmart! Aviation is pleased to offer a blast from the past, this well cared for 1958 Piper Comanche 250, N5181P! The current owner has kept the plane hangared and well maintained, located in Dallas, Texas at the KRBD Airfield. All ADs and STCs have been complied with on this aircraft. Airframe currently has 6,774 TTSN. Lots of mods on this Comanche to include Knots2U flaps and ailerons, wing root fairings as well. Wig wag landing lights. Avionics include standard six pack with an STEC 50 autopilot, Garmin navigation to include GNX375 v3.21/2.80, GA36 WAAS, GTR 225, and Garmin 496 panel mount. King 125 nav coms. Ultimate engine analyzer and Electronics Inc fuel totalizer. The auxiliary 20 gallon fuel tank was added, 80 gallons total. Concord Battery. Engine wise, Lycoming O-540-A1D5 by Penn Yann Aero in 2012, only 676 hours SMOH. Compressions as of last annual were #1 75/80, #2 74/80, #3 76/80, #4 73/80, #5 75/80, #6 72/80. Installed slick electric right magneto in 2020. Propeller wise, replaced in 1998 with a McCauley Propeller. New Tailhorn about 500 hours or so to go till next inspection. Gear up landing recorded in 1970, 337 included with logs. Rebuilt gear assembly in 2016, very thorough, not due to accident, time to do so. New gear bungees 9/2023.
