The Travel Air Manufacturing Company was founded in 1925 by Walter Beech, Clyde Cessna, and Lloyd Stearman - the historic trio of aviation leaders in American aviation. The Travel Air 10D model was a high-winged monoplane with an enclosed cabin. It was marketed as a luxurious executive aircraft. Serial number 10-2011 rolled off the assembly in Wichita, Kansas in 1929. It was fully restored to its original condition in 2007 and has been actively flown and maintained since.
