Beech J-35 Bonanza Serial #D-5399 with extensive V35 upgrades $135,000 TTAF - 6,063 On Feb. 10, 1990 a tornado struck the Bessemer, AL airport (KEKY) and D-5399 sustained not in motion damage when a part of the hangar fell. Rather than repair the wing, we replaced it and did repair work on the engine keel. My son and I have flown the airplane over thirty years since then and it trims out great.
