From mid 2020 till 2022 the aircraft remained idle in a hangar after going through a windstorm while it was safely parked amongst dozen others in the lot at Nashville airport. A few of the airplanes there broke lose and caused some damages mainly to the carbon fiber exterior areas of this baby. The Cirrus Factory then had sent their engineers to the site to inspect all the Cirrus planes and concluded this G5 was fairly fit to be put back in service after the necessary repairs. Such work was completed using mostly the Cirrus new parts and authorized repair stations till this aircraft was made fully airworthy to continue flying same as always before. ** This aircraft never incurred any damage while in flight or motion. A scanned copy of the Logbooks to date can be provided upon request. To ensure that all work and resulting performance met the required optimum standards set by FAA and the Cirrus Design Corp. we commissioned a Cirrus Factory test Pilot from MN to come test and certify this aircraft in September 2022 for its optimum performance and airworthiness were professionally completed. This Flight test report/cert has been entered in the log book further confirming the airplane met the same airworthiness, safety and performance standards as prior since new; This mandatory requirement by the Cirrus Factory also help protect and maintain safety and integrity standards set by the factory for maintenance of all Cirrus machines hence its great image and reputation in the aviation market and value of each asset remains strong. Since October 2022 the owner personally flew with the pilot for about 39 hrs, through Arizona, Mexico, Texas, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, Washington and to CYPK in Canada enjoying flights of up to 5.5 hrs durations and up to 18000 feet above the sea level and through icing conditions around the most beautiful Rockies area of Aspen Mountain in Colorado using the O2 when that high and this amazing TKS deice system worked just great. Please feel free to shoot any questions or concerns or if you need help with part financing arrangements. Late Note: The Transponder and Pitot Certification now too has been completed in January 2024, so you can go IFR all the way back home. There has been one annoying message on the screen that comes up intermittently indicating CO sensor needing attention despite no leak of fumes. A new CO sensor unit/assembly has been ordered for immediate installation and rectify this issue likely by the time you are reading this page. If serious I suggest you simply plan a flight to Mesa AZ and let my Pilot take you up for a demo and you watch, hear or test fly it yourself (my pilot is also a Cirrus Instructor) and then form your own conclusions on its performance, price, appearance, capacity, interior, speed, range, comfort, safety, low TTSN, stability, little or no post purchase cost issues and all else it offers. ***(Most G5s are due this or the next year for their 10 year overhauls on parachute and the propeller that costs nearly $50,000 plus a month or two of downtime; this G5 has already completed that and good till now 2032). Thank you for showing interest in this Gorgeous G5.

About SR22

The Cirrus SR22 is a highly regarded single-engine, piston-powered general aviation aircraft, renowned for its innovative design, safety features, and performance. Manufactured by Cirrus Aircraft, a company headquartered in Duluth, Minnesota, the SR22 was first introduced in 2001 as an enhanced version of the earlier SR20 model. It has since become one of the best-selling aircraft in its class, appealing to private pilots and business travelers alike. One of the standout features of the SR22 is its advanced safety system, the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS), which deploys a whole-airframe parachute in emergencies. This groundbreaking feature has been credited with saving numerous lives and is a major reason for the aircraft’s popularity among safety-conscious buyers. The SR22 is powered by a 310-horsepower Continental IO-550-N engine, enabling a maximum cruising speed of approximately 183 knots (340 km/h) and a range of around 1,200 nautical miles (2,222 km). The aircraft’s efficiency and performance make it suitable for both short regional flights and longer cross-country missions. It is equipped with advanced avionics, including the Garmin Perspective+ flight deck, which features a user-friendly interface, synthetic vision technology, and integrated autopilot capabilities. The design of the SR22 is another key factor in its success. It features a composite airframe, sleek aerodynamics, and a fixed tricycle landing gear configuration. The spacious and ergonomically designed cabin offers comfortable seating for up to five occupants, along with climate control and modern conveniences like USB ports and leather upholstery. Over the years, Cirrus has released various iterations of the SR22, including the turbocharged SR22T, which provides improved performance at higher altitudes. Limited-edition models and upgrades have also been introduced, catering to pilots seeking premium features and customizations. The SR22 has earned a reputation as a pilot-friendly and versatile aircraft, well-suited for personal, training, and business aviation. Its combination of performance, luxury, and safety has made it a favorite among private owners and flight schools. As one of the most popular general aviation aircraft in the world, the Cirrus SR22 continues to set benchmarks in the industry, blending cutting-edge technology with reliable and efficient flying capabilities.
