This SE was sold by Robert Nicolas in 2005 as a new conversion, the airframe was purchased for the current owner in 2005, I was specifically looking for a clean 1978 gear door model, due to certain features with the landing gear system that the 1979 and later models were eliminated. All of these features were positives in my opinion, when I first started selling conversion for O&N (1999) there were no gear door models Silver Eagles, there are about 15 1978 that have been converted. The current owner has put all of the hours on the conversion since his ownership. PropJet did the hot section early due to chip detectors frequency. Engine runs strong and will see true airspeeds of around 208 knots. Aircraft recently had a new panel and A/P upgrades…. Owner selling due to medical reasons. The interior on a scale of 1-10 is 9 and the paint is the same…PropJet Aviation has done most of the annuals and maintenance, service work was either done by O&N, Griggs Aircraft or PropJet…
