I’m selling this brand new and VERY rare piece. I’m the first owner of the guitar and I got it only a few weeks ago! I own a big collection of guitars, and I already have a few semi hollow bodied guitars. Therefore I have decided to sell this beauty to gain funds for other cool projects.The guitar was purchased at Dijkmans Music in the Netherlands. The sound of this '64 Custom Shop ES-335 is packed with character and is beautifully woody as you would expect from real vintage copies. ES-335 models are of course mainly known for that legendary neck pickup tone, but as with every copy of this caliber, the bridge pickup also sounds fantastic. In contrast to the warm, glowing neck pickup, the bridge pickup here also sounds open and bright with a hint of jangle. The medium-C neck profile is just right: not too thin and not too thick, with a top-quality Indian Rosewood fingerboard.
