Year : 2007The Totem Guitar is a unique guitar that is carefully crafted one by one by builder Michael Spalt. The body top is inlaid with antique objects and then solidified with clear resin, creating a three-dimensional design, and each guitar is titled like a painting. It is truly a "sound-producing work of art" and there are no two that are the same. The clear resin used is specially mixed by the builder after considering the acoustic combination with the back body material, and plays an important role in the sound of the body. The body back is made of carefully selected mahogany. The pickup is equipped with two original bone tops. It produces a glossy and grainy beautiful sound. The neck is made of beautiful flame maple, and the thick, high-quality rosewood fingerboard contributes to the luxurious look and sound. The frets are medium jumbo 22 frets. The scale is 25.5", the nut width is approximately 42 mm, and it has a somewhat thick and firm neck grip. There is no history of repairs or part replacements. Currently, the neck is almost straight, the truss rod has been confirmed to work in both directions, and there are depressions under the strings in the frets with about 70-75% remaining at the lowest points. There are some scratches, dents, and scuffs from playing, but overall it is in relatively good condition.
