This Stratocaster has been refinished in a thin black nitrocellulose finish that beautifully showcases the swamp ash woodgrain beneath. The guitar has been upgraded with Seymour Duncan Alnico pickups, delivering a powerful and articulate tone.At some point in its life, the guitar was modified to install active pickups. While it's been returned to its original passive configuration, a small cavity in the back of the body—created during the active pickup installation—has been filled in. The guitar shows significant wear on both the body and neck, reflecting how much it has been played and loved over the years. Despite these changes, it plays and sounds magnificent, offering a deeply resonant tone that only comes from a well-loved, vintage instrument. It comes with a non-original hardcase for protection.
