2010 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul R9 with a monster top , big wide flames with lots of figuring and wood grain . A classic Cherry Sunburst finish that has a vintage look to it. The flametop really pops under natural light. Gorgeous looking Les Paul , they definitely got it right with this one. The guitar is all original,  it has the Gibson Burstbuckers 1 and 2 for pickups, 59 neck profile, long neck tenon, rosewood fingerboard, one piece back, non chambered, weight is at 8.4 pounds, very light and resonant.  This has been selected from many R9s and it has been the one for me, great resonance, you can feel the notes vibrating through the neck. The neck profile is perfect, it is one of the most comfortable 59s, not too big but not too thin, just perfect. It is very easy to play, low action with no buzz. The guitar is in excellent condition, it has began to age very nicely, there are no scratches or dings on the top or back , the finish has started to wear out a bit on the binding (see photo) and the Les Paul silkscreen has faded a bit, there are some scratches and a little ding near the input jack, a scratch on top of the headstock . One tiny ding on the neck however you don't feel it , it still remains smooth to play. No bucklewear and no fretwear.
