This 2022 Martin Custom Shop 000-28 Authentic 1937, featuring an ambertone finish and Stage 1 “Aging,” is in top-notch condition and sounds fantastic! Check out the included demo video.I’ve played quite a few of the new Authentics that come through Gruhn’s here in Nashville, and they’re consistently among my favorite guitars being built today. This particular example is super-responsive and easy to play, and it’s about as loud and powerful as any guitar of this size on the market. It features an Adirondack spruce top, East Indian Rosewood back/sides, relic Waverly tuners, an adjustable truss rod, and bone nut/saddle/bridge pins. The nut width is 1 ¾”.I recently had Dave Johnson perform a setup, so it’s in excellent playing shape! There are a few capo marks/scratches on the back of the neck and a couple very minor dings elsewhere, and then of course there is the lacquer checking from the aging process.
