This prewar 000-28 is a wonderful example of the craftsmanship, sound, and overall quality that make these guitars so sought after. After nine decades, this 1934 model has only improved in both tone and appearance. To ensure its playability for years to come, the guitar has undergone several necessary repairs: replaced tuners, a new nut, refretting, fingerboard planing, an added strap pin on the heel, a neck reset, oversprayed neck and sides, refinished top and back, and approximately four back cracks repaired (one with a cleat). It also has a replaced thin oversized maple bridge plate, two plate cleats under the pickguard crack, a new bridge and saddle, and replacement bridge pins. Thanks to these repairs, this guitar feels and plays wonderfully, making it a fantastic addition to any Martin enthusiast's collection.Calton HSC included.
