The tone of these old guitars is in the wood and from the years of playing. This Gibson ES-175 was made in the USA in 1957 and is in great condition. It is a very nice playing and sounding instrument. As is the case with the majority of ES-175 guitars made during the PAF era, this one no longer has the original pickups, and is now loaded with a pair of great sounding ThroBak JW-102B PAF style humbuckers with premium CTS pots. Many replaced parts. Original parts: wood bridge, truss rod cover, pickguard & strap buttons. The beautiful tobacco finish is original and in great shape. There is natural finish checking which adds to the MoJo of the guitar along with normal play wear from 67 years of playing. No structural damage, cracks, or repairs. It has had a pro-setup in our store and plays great but has some fret wear. It comes with the original hard case. 1-11/16" nut width. Neck measurements are: 1st-.915 / 3rd-.917 / 5th-.934 / 7th-.950 / 9th-.987 / 12th-1.05.
