From 2001, we have a very rare and now iconic Taylor “Gallery Series Living Jewels” Dreadnought. It features Big Leaf Quilted Maple for the back and sides, and Bearclaw Spruce on top. Aside from its obvious beauty, this guitar is unique—#97 of 100. Not to be coy (pun intended), it’s also famous. This model has been used occasionally by the one and only Taylor Swift. The Gallery Series inlay art is based on the works of Pete Davies Jr., who worked at Taylor Guitars with his parents. The series had two other variations: one with sea turtles and another with Gray Whales. This particular Koi variety is the model Miss Swift is renowned for rocking out with. This guitar is ornate and intricately detailed.
