【USED】Introducing the 2017 Musicman AXIS USA! Launched in 1972 by Leo Fender and other Fender associates, MUSICMAN was officially founded in 1984.This model “Axis” is a representative model of Musicman with a unique design. The contoured body is made of basswood, which has a good weight balance and flat range characteristics, and the top is made of figured maple with beautifully raised flame grain. The 25.5” scale neck and 22-fret fingerboard are made of figured maple.The neck is made of roasted maple, which is heated (about 200°C) in an oxygen-free state to remove moisture and stabilize the wood, producing a hard, clear, crisp sound. The neck shape has a different thickness from the 1st string side to the 6th string side, which makes the neck very playable and sophisticated. Two custom DiMaggio pickups are mounted on the neck to provide a nice, clean, and smooth sound for both distortion and clean playing.The Musicman Floyd Rose tremolo system allows for deep arming and a wide range of sounds for the ultimate rock guitar sound. The overall condition is clean with no signs of use, but there are two dents on the lower back of the body.The performance as a guitar is of course top class, so please check it out if you are interested.
