With this D-45 from the Martin Custom Shop we are dealing with the top end of the Martin line-up. Even its playability is impressive across the board with the low-profile neck fitting perfectly in the hand and guaranteeing an extremely comfortable playing experience. Whether for fingerpicking or strumming, you won't want to put this guitar down! In addition, everything that could make a guitar the queen of Martin dreadnoughts has been installed here: the back and sides are made from premium rosewood, the neck from selected mahogany. We are also dealing with the extremely rare version with a solid Adirondack spruce top. The “Forward Shifted X Bracing” (i.e. the special top bracing) ensures optimum vibration of the precious woods, resulting in a truly sensationally balanced sound with powerful basses, tight mids and silvery highs. Not forgetting of course the elaborate abalone inlays on the fingerboard, binding and rosette, which make these acoustics a fantastic eye-candy not only in terms of sound, but also visually. Reference class in terms of sound, appearance and workmanship! D-45s with Adirondack tops are extremely rare and can hardly be found on the market anymore, as they are only produced in very small numbers.
