Here’s a beautiful, near-mint example of a 1979 Gibson Flying V. All original, with the one exception of the wire holding down the saddles on the ABR-1. Original case, also in great shape. The only thing holding this guitar back from mint condition is some corrosion on the hardware, most notably the bridge, saddles and tailpiece studs, and a bit on the tailpiece and a few of the tuners. No visible fretwear. Average fret height is around .033”. Set up with D’Addario 10-46 strings with an action of 4/64 bass to 3/64 treble and .004” relief. Electronics are clean and pickups sound excellent, but are a bit microphonic with gain, as is often the case with unpotted humbuckers. Weighs a very comfortable 7lbs.
