Early 1962 Fender VI anyone?This guitar looks great. Expert body restoration by Clive Brown in fiesta red, this is a great example of the colour done well. The neck, dated March 1962, has thankfully not been refinished but has been refretted with a new nut having been fitted. The tuners are Kluson reproductions. The hardware and plastics are in good condition with some signs of wear, but nothing too extensive.Electrically there have been a few minor changes. The volume pot is a later example and there are a few changed wires. The classic early style pickups seem untouched. The guitar comes with its correct and VERY hard to find brown Tolex hardshell case.A true crossover instrument, approached as a bass this delivers some great low end though the string spacing can be a struggle.
