Description

Japanese made in 2010, the ST68-HO was a very limited edition offering from Fender that was made by the Dyna-Gakki factory in very small numbers. Features a transparent red finish on a Zebrawood top and back with an alder semi-hollowbody construction in between, a bolt on maple neck and a 21 fret bound rosewood fingerboard with block inlays (7.25" radius, 42mm nut width). Weighing 3.7kg's, it's an incredibly resonant and full sounding guitar that sounds as good as it looks. Loaded with the original Fender Japan single coils and Japanese pots/wiring (unlike the mid 00's models that had Texas Specials), this one appears to be all original as pictured.  This is one of almost 50 guitars that we recently acquired from an Australian collector who kept most of his guitars safely stashed away and only used them very lightly at home.  Good used condition with light signs of wear and tear as pictured but no major bumps/dings of note. There's some light surface rust to the hardware but everything is fully functional. The neck is straight and the truss adjusts well.
