Description

There are guitars that only exist once! The look, sound and playability of this Fender Gretsch hybrid are unique. Masterbuilder Paul Waller presents the highest art of guitar making here. The top (spruce) and back (flamed maple) are hand-carved in the best archtop carved top style. The aim was to achieve the perfect mix of Telecaster and Gretsch archtop. And Paul Waller has achieved this perfectly. The handling is very comfortable, as is the playability. It sits perfectly on the body and plays like a Tele. Grippy, slightly thicker neck. In terms of looks Paul Waller of course took his cue from the classic Gretsch guitars with their Gretsch orange, the golden Filtertron pickups and the golden Bigsby. And Gretsch fans will also get their money's worth in terms of sound. To be honest, ....you have to find a sound and playability like this on a Gretsch first. Super direct, great response and transmits every last nuance of playing. In combination with the Bigsby, simply pure Gretsch! A mixture of the fattest Tele and the Gretsch with the most twang, resonance and fullness. You won't want to stop playing here. An absolute tone monster! The guitar has a few minimal traces of use, but is otherwise in top condition.incl. original case, certificateweight: 2980 gramssubject to differential taxation

About Telecaster

The Fender Telecaster, known affectionately as the "Tele," emerged as the first mass-produced solid-body electric guitar, marking a significant milestone in music history. Its straightforward design and innovative sound paved the way for new trends in electric guitar manufacturing and popular music. Since its debut in the 1950s, the Telecaster has been celebrated for its versatility, serving artists across genres from country to jazz, rock, and beyond. Its solid construction, characterized by a single-cutaway body made typically from alder or ash and a bolt-on maple neck, contributes to its distinct, bright, and cutting tone as well as a warm, mellow sound depending on pickup selection. With minor modifications over the years, the Telecaster has remained largely faithful to its original design, featuring two single-coil pickups, a three-way selector switch, and simple volume and tone controls. This enduring design has kept the Telecaster relevant and in continuous production, solidifying its status as a beloved icon in the guitar world.
