Up for grabs is this beautiful 2016 Iced Tea Burst Gibson 1959 Custom Shop reissue ‘Hand Selected’ Les Paul. These individual guitars were carefully hand selected from the Custom Shop in Nashville, Tennessee, by the representatives of top Japanese dealers with the highest knowledge of Gibson Custom Instruments who took them back to Japan. It’s an absolutely beautiful top on this one as you'd expect from a hand selected R9. Curly maple with wide maple flame and mineral streaking aplenty. The maple flame on this one has a top-quality vintage look. Gibson have given it a really top quality heavy relic finish. Forget all the new production-line Murphy labs. This is one of the most perfectly aged R9s we had at GSG. Complete with all case candy inc. certificate of authenticity booklet & also the separate corresponding hand selected certificate, both bearing the guitar's serial number. Has a beautiful dark vintage aged rosewood fingerboard with some superb swirling rosewood grain (pics). Nice and light at 3.9kg. Obviously no issues at all, no breaks, repairs or modifications. Complete with original historic pink velvet crush lined Lifton reissue hard shell case also in great condition.  This represents the absolute best of the best when it comes to a 1959 Custom Shop reissue.
