This 1996 Gretsch G6119 Tennessee Rose was built prior to Fender's buyout of Gretsch and manufactured at the Terada factory in Japan. Weighing in at 8.55 lbs, this guitar is in excellent condition with a stunning deep cherry finish, and complete with Certificate Of Authenticity and original Gretsch hardshell case. The finish is in great shape overall, and displaying some of the typical wear and tear and light buckle rash that one would expect of a guitar that is nearly 30 years old. The tuners have been upgraded to Kluson Contemporary Diecast Series Locking Tuners with a 19:1 gear ratio.
