Description

If you need a Tele with ultimate playing fun and a killer sound, ...here it is! This 55 Telecaster from masterbuilder Dale Wilson has to be given full marks in every category. With its stripped back neck and super comfortable "Large C" profile the guitar feels fantastic in the hand, so you just want to play it! Thanks to the perfectly dressed Narrow/Tall frets and the modern 9.5" fretboard radius you just fly over the fretboard. And then there's the sound! Already very loud and direct when played dry, on the amp this guitar is such a sunrise that you'll never want to pick up another Tele again. This is ensured by two "Handwound 58" pickups, which have a wonderful bell-tone, full and if required, extremely concise and aggressive. In terms of sound this Tele really has everything you could wish for. And the look speaks for itself. The grippy maple fingerboard and the body in wonderful yellowish-yellowed "Aged White Blonde" are really beautifully "rocked". Several paint-free areas and countless minor and major blemishes show how meticulously and detail-obsessed Dale works. The white-aged pickguard is a perfect match. As always with Wilson guitars, one highlight follows the next. And as the icing on the cake the future owner will not only receive the Tele including the frets in mint condition, but also a photo of Dale Wilson, personally signed by him.incl. original case, certificate, spec sheet, strap, case candyweight: 3360 gramssubject to differential taxation

About Telecaster

The Fender Telecaster, known affectionately as the "Tele," emerged as the first mass-produced solid-body electric guitar, marking a significant milestone in music history. Its straightforward design and innovative sound paved the way for new trends in electric guitar manufacturing and popular music. Since its debut in the 1950s, the Telecaster has been celebrated for its versatility, serving artists across genres from country to jazz, rock, and beyond. Its solid construction, characterized by a single-cutaway body made typically from alder or ash and a bolt-on maple neck, contributes to its distinct, bright, and cutting tone as well as a warm, mellow sound depending on pickup selection. With minor modifications over the years, the Telecaster has remained largely faithful to its original design, featuring two single-coil pickups, a three-way selector switch, and simple volume and tone controls. This enduring design has kept the Telecaster relevant and in continuous production, solidifying its status as a beloved icon in the guitar world.
