The electrics are all period-correct, dating to 1966 and the hardware is all-original aside from a Babicz bridge which has been fitted (original bridge included). For the keen-eyed viewers, you will notice the neck plate '71447' which signifies a 1962 model. This bass carries an interesting story - the guitar was for sale in a music store in Belfast when a car bomb unfortunately devastated the store. In the process of cleaning the music store up, two bass guitars were found - this 1966 Jazz Bass, and a 1962 Precision Bass. Both bass guitars were refinished by the store shortly after the bombing, and the neck plates of both were mixed up in the process. Unfortunately the 1962 sold very shortly after, and the original neck plate for this bass has been untraceable since. The frets show approximately 80% of life remaining and the electrics all function as they should. What's Included:1966 Fender Jazz Bass in Olympic WhiteOriginal Fender Hard CaseOriginal Ash Tray Bridge Cover, Pickup Cover, and Bridge
