Description

Absolutely stunning war era J45! Plays and sounds wonderful. Original finish. The bridge has been replaced and the neck reset. There is no FON And it’s had a partial X-Brace reglue. There is a large crack on the bottom of the guitar that curves around the side that was glued shut with titebond hide glue and not cleated. It plays beautifully with a large 50s C neck. It’s been refretted, set up with nice low action, and the tuner button plastics replaced. Very playable and comfortable. It just sings! Very loud and commanding midrange tone with lush highs and deep lows. The tone you hear in your head and you’ve heard on countless recordings. It’s ready to play now and needs no attention. The condition is very clean for its age. There is a lot of checking throughout and looks fantastic. There are some small dings and scratches on the front and a spattering on the back as well but just adds to its awesome character. The neck has one ding around the 4th fret that is not very noticeable while playing. Overall super nice and has all the vintage vibe with no harrowing cosmetic flaws. A real beauty and piece of American history. Comes with an older non original hard shell case.
