This is a 1943 Martin 00-18. The best year IMHO, due to its lighter weight, use of an ebony truss rod instead of steel. Scalloped braces, which ended mid 1944. Lots of playing wear, but no cracks. Original finish, glows greenish yellow under UV light. Tuners changed to Schertler, very smooth. Case fits great. The sound is fantastic, again, it's a 1943. Quick and responsive to touch, louder than expected from this body size, dense with swirling harmonics but strong fundamentals. You have 2 days to decide if you agree with me. The action is very good; does not need a neck reset, in my opinion.
