Gibson L-4 1932 – rare archtop guitar, with cool vintage sound! This is a stunningly clean example from the last years of production before the transition from round soundhole to f-holes!  This Gibson L-4 1932 is a curious representation of a time of change. Sharing both features of what would become the standard for flattop acoustic guitars as we now know them (14th fret neck join, a round soundhole) and more traditional archtop guitar features such as, well, the carved solid Spruce top and the floating fingerboard extension over the body. This one is 100% original excepting the pickguard, which which is period correct. It has a small crack on the top, which has been repaired. Other than that, there are just a few minor dings/checks to the finish as shown in the pictures – superb condition for an instrument approaching 100 years old. It sounds amazing as well – loud and articulate!  This Gibson L-4 1932 comes with the original case.
