Stunning D-18, one of Martin’s highly prized 1937 Authentic models that set the benchmark for sonic superiority and playability. Martin have confirmed that this model is constructed in their Custom Shop, the sanding is then completed on the main factory floor, and then the Vintage Gloss finish is applied back in the Custom where it is also string and set-up. It is in mint condition and is an opportunity to make a huge saving over the typical £7750 online price. This guitar sports time-tested features like Authentic 1937 forward shifted X bracing and hide glue construction. It has a Mahogany back and sides with Adirondack Spruce top with VTS, genuine Mahogany neck with a vintage gloss finish and comfortable standard neck taper with authentic 1937 profile, Ebony fingerboard with 1 3/4" width at the nut and Abalone inlays and Madagascar Rosewood headplate. It has an Ebony bridge, Bone saddle and Waverley open back tuners. It comes complete with its original hardshell case, and paperwork as pictured.
