This is a very rare Vintage 1991 Fender Custom Shop Eric Clapton Signature Stratocaster that was made as Limited Run exclusively for Yamano Music in Japan.  These were made during the golden age of the Fender Custom Shop when it was being run by legendary Master Builder John Page. These Fender Custom Shop Eric Clapton Signature Stratocasters were made as a Limited Run for Yamano Music and a total of 12 guitars were produced and exported to Japan. These guitars were more expensive and featured ash bodies and gold hardware, which weren’t used on regular Custom Shop versions of this guitar. This particular one is exceptionally rare because it was finished in a “Mary Kaye” style because it comes with both gold hardware, and has a White Blonde translucent finish.  This Stratocaster was built by Fender Custom Shop Master Builder Art Esparza and Custom Shop builder Hector Montes.The finish has aged from normal UV exposure to its beautiful blonde color.  This Stratocaster is in very good overall condition for being a 34 year old guitar and plays and sounds great with no issues.  It has a beautiful birds eye maple neck with a “V” profile, and the neck and frets have very little wear (See Photos).  The body has a some scratches, marks, swirls, in various spots in the finish, but is still in very good condition (See Photos).  This Stratocaster was recently setup with D’Adarrio EXL110 strings and the action is nice and low, and it also features Lace Sensor Gold Pickups, 25db mid boost, and TBX tone control.This Stratocaster was purchased from the original owner and has all of the original accessories, hang tags, certificate of authenticity (signed by John Page), gold tremolo cover, gold tremolo arm, original unopened cleaning cloths, Fender Signature Series Manual, and Yamano Music owners manual.  The original tweed case has some signs of wear, but is fully functional and still has the blue plastic covering on the latches.  This Stratocaster will be fully insured and shipped using Reverb Safe Shipping.
