1964 Fender Precision BassVery nice example of a pre-CBS Fender Precision Bass. L series serial #Neck stamp is "5 Sep 64 C"Bass weighs 8 lbs 3 oz without covers (covers weigh 7 oz)Very nice original 3 Tone Sunburst is in very good condition, with only one small paint chip on the back to the right of the strap button, and some minor chipping on the treble side of the neck pocket. Neck is straight and feels great, finish has been nicely worn in. Hair line cracks noted on back of headstock through tuner screw and on back of neck by 2nd fret. Cracks appear superficial and do not affect playability. Original pickups and potentiometers. Tuners and hardware have some oxidation, but everything functions properly. Only replaced parts are the two screws for the pickup cover tray. Original Hardshell case included, but is in rough shape. Some staining to the inner lining.
