1962 Olympic White Jazz Bass We’ve been here at Chelsea Guitars for 35 years, yet I can’t remember ever getting in an early 60’s J bass in Olympic White livery, and even if I did remember there’s no way we’ve ever had one that played and sounded as well as this one, or looked so cool…This bass was gotten as a partial payment on a dept, along with a beautiful Ampeg B15. In 1973, The new owner had new frets installed and new pots put in, thinking he’d use the bass for gigs. Instead the new owner’s life changed, and the bass and amp have been in storage till now, unused.(The B15 will be posted in the next couple of weeks)The instrument came out of storage in excellent working condition, with a beautiful straight neck and wonderful sounding original pickups.
