Description

Is this one of the coolest looking semi-hollows in recent history? I think so. Limited run from 2016 and made famous in the movie 'A star is born'. This guitar is in excellent condition, just some light finish wear on some spots. The 1964 ES-345 Olive Drab Green VOS is a historically accurate re-creation of this much loved semi. It comes in an exotic alternative vintage finish that never made it to the originals of the '60s. That's complemented by split parallelogram fingerboard inlays and period-correct plastics, hot hide glue neck and body construction, matched potentiometer sets, rolled fingerboard binding and a great set of MHS humbuckers for true PAF tone.An accurately shaped 1964 body shape is complemented by the ES-345's upgraded bindingVintage-correct fingerboardSplit-parallelogram inlays are a classic hallmark of the ES-345Matched potentiometersMatched 550K potentiometers provide improved output and high frequency response from pickupsHistoric constructionThe neck is attached with hot hide glue, as are the quarter-sawn spruce Adirondack top bracesHistoric truss rodLike the originals our Historic truss rod has no tube, a feature known to enhance the guitar's resonance and sustainMHS pickupsMemphis Historic Spec humbuckers are our most accurate PAF clones yetPeriod-correct fretsCustom finishThis retro custom color is applied in hand-sprayed nitrocellulose lacquer, gently aged in our VOS processBody: Accurate '64 shape with multi-ply binding Fingerboard: Bound rosewood with split-parallelogram inlays Potentiometers: Matched 550k potentiometers Construction: Hide glue body and neck construction Truss rod: Tubeless Historic truss rod Pickups: MHS humbuckers Frets: Period-correct .100" x .045" fret wire Finish: VOS nitrocellulose lacquer in Olive Drab GreenExcellent condition, just some light finishwear.
