Very Good condition, 7/10, Made in USA, including non-original brown hardcase that is barely holding together, only slight fret wear, according to the serial this bass was built in March 1974, missing both bridge and pickup covers, good neck and working truss rods, all original electronics with pots dated 13773xx, worn all along the edges of the body and lots of dings and dents all over but works and plays great, belt buckle wear on the back, one tuner has been replaced with a correct tuner (one extra in the case, not sure what is wrong with it), more info: Initially developed as a deluxe, two-pickup upgrade to Rickenbacker’s 4000 bass, the Rickenbacker 4001 bass guitar has become a notable model for its long list of famous players.
