This one still features the deliciously musical “old oscillator” board before the update to the more stable (and, thusly, less-musical in my opinion) board. It’s had a full suite of servicing and critical updates including the following: - full electrolytic recap- power supply refurbished (diodes)- summing resistors updated with matched metal film (a critical update that helps tremendously with octave scaling)- op amp and 3046 transistor array replacement with socket installation- new multi-turn Range, Scale, and Octave trimmers for precise and accurate tuning and added stability- “dead-band” pitch wheel modification - buss bar polished of any corrosion- NOS Mod & Pitch wheel installation- keybed leveled and new key bushings installed- full tuning and calibration This is a beautiful Mini that would be right at home in any setting, be it a high-caliber studio, practice space, or home recording setup. These are extremely user-friendly and just do a thing the reissues simply cannot reproduce.
