2024 PRS Employee Beverly Fowler Hollowbody II 594 Piezo 1-Off Aqua Violet Smokeburst DESCRIPTION We are honored to offer an incredibly special Employee PRS Hollowbody II 594 Piezo from long-time Director of Artist Relations Beverly Fowler. If you didn’t know, PRS builds long-time employees special guitars as a gift for their service after a specific time period, starting with an SE and working all the way up to Private Stock. Some employees decide to sell these guitars. Generally, employee guitars feature unique and special features not otherwise offered to customers (or even to dealers), and this Hollowbody II is no different - its one of VERY few Hollowbody II 594 Piezo in existence! From PRS: “Fowler has worked for PRS Guitars since 2002 and has been at the helm of the company’s Artist Relations department since 2008. She works closely with PRS’s signature and official artists, including Carlos Santana and John Mayer. She also spearheaded the creation of the PRS Pulse Artist Program in 2020. During her tenure with PRS, Bev has facilitated many PRS events and partnerships, including countless artist promotions, the NAMM show, and She Rocks Awards, where she was honored with the She Rocks Spirit Award in 2017.” “Basically, she’s a total badass, an icon in artist relations, and an inspiration to women in our industry. The most exciting feature of this action-packed build is the fact that a piezo bridge is not a customer/dealer orderable option for a Hollowbody II 594 (HBII 594’s are non-piezo only, usually). As of the writing of this ad, there are no known plans to offer such an option in any PRS model, including Private Stock, elevating the instrument to an unobtanium-level rarity. This guitar is built by the Private Stock team using Private Stock woods and Private Stock options, although it is technically not a Private Stock. Also, although this guitar is nearly new and only owned by Fowler, it is technically sold as a 2024 ‘used’ guitar in excellent condition, which is mint except for the tiniest blemish near the pickup (we attempt to over-describe guitars here at Ish so there are zero surprises on arrival). The killer matched quilt top and back woods were hand-selected by Private Stock Director Paul Miles at Fowler’s request, as well as matching flamed maple bird inlays and a flamed maple neck. The headstock veneer is hand-signed by Paul Reed Smith himself, and a black paisley case is included as well. Aqua Violet Glow Smokeburst with a matching faded neck was used for color, perfectly matching the vibes of this perfectly-spec’d build.
