Near mint Collings OM42BaaaA. OM body with 42-style abalone inlay, grade triple-A Brazilian rosewood, and Adirondack spruce top. This was built in 2001 when Collings was a much smaller operation. This was obviously a special edition instrument, not a part of their normal product line, so it got the attention and craftsmanship you'd expect from a top showpiece coming out of their shop back then. Appraisal is included in the pictures. Looks gorgeous and sounds even better. Very few of these were ever made. No blemishes that I can find anywhere on the instrument, no history of repairs. Always kept in temperature and humidity controlled environment.
